About Us

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, our educational approach has undergone a transformative shift from traditional in-person classes to a dynamic online learning experience.

Over the course of the past 5 years, we have continually refined and enhanced our remote teaching methods by utilising several platforms, including Zoom.

Our commitment to delivering an exceptional learning experience remains unwavering, and we have implemented several strategies in our online classes. To captivate our students' attention and foster deeper comprehension, we incorporate multimedia elements into our lessons. This includes slide and video presentations. We have also integrated gamification elements into our curriculum, allowing students to challenge one another in educational games, that are designed to reinforce key concepts while having fun. We also employ time-based quizzes that challenge students' knowledge on the spot, helping them consolidate what they have learned, and encouraging active participation. To encourage peer learning and social interaction, our virtual breakout room sessions provide a platform for students to collaborate and exchange ideas.

About the Teachers

Hi, I'm Teacher Angela, a certified ex-MOE teacher with a rich background in education and training. After graduating from the National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore, I taught at St. Gabriel's and Xin Min Primary Schools. I then spent 7 years as a corporate trainer with Singapore Airlines (SIA). After starting my family, I joined two educational consultancies and dedicated over a decade to teach English enrichment in schools. Additionally, I worked in a Before-and-After School Care program and with the Residents' Committee before beginning my tutoring journey in 2006. I hold a UK Professional Trainers Diploma and a Training and Development Management Diploma from SIM. In my free time, I enjoy cycling with my dog, playing the guitar, hiking, and reading.
Teacher Angela
Hi, I'm Teacher Joy, a trained educator who has close to 30 years of experience in the educational field. I enjoy crafting and delivering various English Language programmes for the primary and secondary levels. I also conduct classes in presentation skills and written communication, and derive great pleasure when I'm able to help others frame their world with words. Prior to my experiences as an English Language tutor, I taught in CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School and ACS(J).
I'm a compulsive collector of experiences with a huge appetite for the new. My life’s goal to teach others to learn. A creative writer at heart, I'm also an enthusiastic trekker, who inspire empathy and cultivate independent learning in my students.
